Ryan Tucker, District 3 Councilmember

Constituency

Ryan B. Tucker began his term as a City Council member representing the 3rd district in November 2015, after winning a special election to fill the seat vacated by John D. Stallings. He is currently serving his second term of office.

Employment & Memberships

A ten-year resident of Thomaston, he is President of United Bank in Thomaston. Councilmember Tucker currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors of Sertoma, and the Board of Directors of the Community Care Thrift Store.

He also serves as a Trustee on the Board of the Southern Crescent Technical College Foundation and Upson Regional Medical Center Foundation. He and his family attend First United Methodist Church in Thomaston.

Education

Born in Mobile, Alabama, he is a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in Finance. He is also a graduate of the Terry School of Business’ Georgia Banking School at the University of Georgia.

Biography

He is married to Lori Tucker and is the father of two children, Ansley and Barrett.
