Jeff Middlebrooks represents City Council District 2. He was elected in November 2015. Councilmember Middlebrooks’ term began on January 5, 2016.  He is currently serving his second term of office.

Education

He is a 1980 graduate of R. E. Lee High School.

Employment & Memberships

Councilmember Middlebrooks has been employed with the Thomaston-Upson County Recreation Department for the past 27 years as Athletic Superintendent. He also worked with Southern Crescent Technical College for 14 years. He is a member of Georgia Parks and Recreation Association. 

Biography

Mr. Middlebrooks was born on December 20, 1960, in Barnesville, Georgia to Ms. Clyde Middlebrooks.  He has one daughter, Ms. Shakeirra Middlebrooks who is an educator and coach in Jasper County School System. Mr. Middlebrooks is a member of Mary Lizzie Baptist Church.
